One Of The Cost

One of the cost of being an “attractive” gay man is having to deal with fake mannerisms & fake homophobia.

I could really get into a lot of things I’ve had to deal with but this was something I had to get off my chest. Sure, it’s worldly, but it’s also many people’s frustrating experience. Women will always potentially have it worse when men are attracted to them for various obvious different reasons but being liked by men as a gay man also sucks.

Fake Homophobia?

DL men more often then not resort to certain negative mannerisms and ways of speaking and acting to cover up the fact that they like other men. I’m not saying it’s right, but I do understand why a lot of other gay men carry themselves with an “attitude". It's annoying and more often then not, offensive on how men seem to think that just because someone is gay, they are desired - then have the nerve to start acting like we like them for it to be it the other way around. The world is dangerously unaware of how many men secretly like other men. It’s not just an opinion, it’s a lived experience as someone who has been up and down and all around this country. They ALL do the same thing. Hardly any of them get it right and that’s to not do too much.
